They are becoming more and more frequent, but despite this, or for that very reason, the days when the Leixões Container Terminal exceeds 3,000 TEU handled deserve to be mentioned.

And the highlight is justified either by the absolute value itself, or by what it represents regarding YILPORT Leixões' operational responsiveness, either in the container yard or at the quay front. Because 3,000 TEU or more is the result of operating multiple ships, with all that entails.

It was on 19 October, the best day of week no. 42, that the Leixões Container Terminal again exceeded 3,000 TEU: it reached 3,014, for 1,832 containers handled in the operation of seven (7) ships.

Throughout the week, between 14 and 20 October, YILPORT Leixões operated 23 ships, handling 6,811 containers, 11,320 TEU, at the quay front.

Still on week 42, another 7,246 containers were handled at the container yard, with the reception of 3,601 and the shipping of 3,645, loaded onto trucks and trains.
