28 SHIPS "YIELDED" ALMOST 14,000 TEU IN A WEEK 2016-07-13 Between the 4th and 10th of July, the Leixões Container Terminal operated 28 ships. This resulted in the movement of 8,805 containers, to which corresponded 14,370 TEU. Only the "Maersk Phuket," the Ship of the Week contributed with 2,285. Moreover, the operation of the Maersk Line’s ship proved decisive for the 4th, the first day, being also the best day of the week. Were then unloaded / loaded 1,793 containers, or 2,928 TEU as a result of the operation of five ships. To complete the picture in numbers of week no. 28 has still to be mentioned the movements at the container yard. There were over 7,430, resulting from the reception of 3,178 and the shipment of 4,252 containers. It could be said that it was a full week! |
