In the first five months of the year, the Container Terminal handled 249,650 TEU, representing a monthly average of 50,000 TEU. If this pace is maintained, by the end of the year the barrier of 600,000 TEU will again be exceeded.
When compared to the same period of 2014 there is, however, a drop of 7.5%, which is explained almost exclusively by the strong reduction in exports to Angola for well-known reasons and that are related to local economy.
In May, the TCL handled 50,643 TEU, 13% less than in the same month of the previous year.
